Research Project Title
The hydraulic environment of the lower River Murray and the effects of serial weirs
Description
The project is a combination of water engineering and environmental biology. Hydraulic parameters are a major determinant of the distribution and abundance of organisms. I am investigating how the construction of 10 weirs on the lower River Murray has changed the hydraulic environment, and how this has impacted the ecological functioning of the system.
